What to Know Before Your Visit!
What is check in/check out time?
Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 12pm.
Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
There is no smoking anywhere on premises.
Do you offer in-room dining? What are the hours?
Yes - 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?
The Whitney Hotel welcomes two pets up to 50 lbs. for an additional fee of $100 per stay. Pets cannot be left unattended at anytime, pet sitting may be arranged through the hotel concierge. Our pet amenities include treats and feeding bowls. *Pet friendly guestrooms are limited.
Do you have pet-sitting or dog walking services?
Yes, See above question.
How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?
From our pet friendly guestrooms there is a 50 ft distance.
Do you have pet-free guestrooms for those with allergies?
Yes, we have hyper-allergenic guestrooms that are deep cleaned after each guest's departure.
Do you offer shuttle service from the airport?
No, but we may gladly arrange for our guests through 3rd party and we encourage our guests to do so so that we are better prepared for their arrival.
What are your cross streets?
The Whitney Hotel is located at Cambridge St. and Charles St.
Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
We offer valet service located a few feet away from the hotel for an additional $56 per day. *Not included in hotel stay rates.
Will your rooms allow rollaway beds/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?
We do not offer rollaway, but can provide cribs free of charge upon request.
I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
Please contact the support team of the channel you booked through. Unfortunately, the hotel team does not have access to your reservation details and therefore they may not amend it.
What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
The cancellation period is 72 hours notice. There is no deposit, but we require a credit card on file as a guarantee.
What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room?
You must be 21 years of age to reserve.
Is my ID/passport required at check-in?
Yes, either is acceptable. Identification provided must match the name on your reservation.
Do you have connecting rooms?
Yes, there are 4 connecting rooms on the property. There is a total of 780 sq ft when two rooms are added together.
Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, there are 10 accessible rooms on premesis.
Do you have an early departure fee?
If you need to shorten the length of stay you've booked the rate is one night + tax [14.45%].
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, VISA, AMEX, DINERS, DISCOVER, MASTERCARD
I want flowers, chocolates, champagne, gifts sent to the room. How do I do this?

Should we inform you about our arrival times?
Yes, we encourage our guests to let us know their arrival/departure details so that we are better prepared for their arrival and departure.
When is the hotel reopening?
We are excited to announce that The Whitney Hotel will be accepting reservations beginning on Wednesday, July 1st.
Is the fitness studio open?
Yes, our fitness studio is open. Please contact a guest service associate at the front desk to reserve a workout time in advance. Due to the intimate setting of the studio, we are limiting the use to one person per session or two people per session if you’re traveling together.
Do you have to wear a mask at the hotel?
Yes, following the federal guidelines and for the safety of our guests and team members, masks are required in all public spaces of the hotel.
Is the courtyard open?
Yes, our courtyard garden is open from June through August from 8 am to 9:30 pm. Please practice social distancing when enjoying the space.
Is valet/or self parking available?
Yes, valet parking is available. Please pull up directly in front of the hotel and one of our guest service team members will assist you.
What else should I know prior to arrival?
We have a number of items that will be available to you upon request. Please contact guest services and we’ll happily deliver them to your guest room.

How can gift cards be purchased?
Gift cards can be purchased online here directly on our website.
What deals are available?
Gift cards can be purchased in increments of $100 from $100 to $500.
Does a gift card expire?
The purchase value of your gift card never expires.
How do I redeem my gift card?
Starting on August 1, 2020, you can apply gift cards to room rate charges by simply presenting your gift card at check-out to apply towards eligible charge
What charges can I use my gift card for?
Guests can use these towards reservations booked via the hotel’s website or by calling the hotel directly. Gift cards cannot be applied towards bookings made on a third party site, such as Expedia. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for restaurant, in-room dining, parking, taxes, fees or other charges.
Can I use a gift card at another affiliated hotel?
No, gift cards are only redeemable at the hotel that it was purchased. The hotel name is displayed on the gift card.
Can I purchase a gift card as a gift?
Yes! You can purchase a gift card that will be sent to your recipient’s email address.
What types of gift cards are available?
Our gift cards are electronic only. They can be presented via mobile device or via print out for redemption. Physical gift cards are not available.
